HIV is something that has not been getting the attention it needs of late.
On December 29th, 2017, Trump fired all members of the HIV/AIDS advisory council. Two groups have suffered the most from this. People under 25 and the Elderly

You read that right, the Elderly. <Thread>1/ According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), people 50 and older accounted for 17% (6,812) of the 39,782 new HIV diagnoses in 2016 in the United States. Yesterday, November 25 was International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. #ViolenceAgainstWomen 1/ Femicide is not a widespread term among people, and many who have heard of it (even women), don't understand the difference between 'Femicide' and the general term of 'Murder'.

Murder is the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. 2/

Let me be clear, no MAJOR war. Out of 235 years of the US existence, only 21 one of those was without a Major War. The only time worth noting that we were *not* at war was 1935 - 40 during the Great Depression. 2/
