Blindspot: A thread Institution has a blindspot that is making it unable to see things past their usual lens. Failing to comprehend the situation. They keep thinking Imran Khan has turned public against them by social media etc. That's not the case. It's not the propaganda. 2/n

Me working against Army 24/7 a short thread. Although I don't need a certificate of patriotism from him and initially didn't want to dignify it with a response even.🧵👇 Picked a fight with retired US army officer and took him to cleaners in DMs too only because he made a nonsensical tweets against Pakistan Army

An insight into military mindset 1/n 🧵👇 There are fundamental differences in the approaches of a civilian especially a politician and a general who has spent 4 decades in the Armed forces. These differences stem from a variety of factors. The more up the ladder and the years served, the more divergent. 2/n

Following 1600+ accounts and still get tweets shown that I don't follow neither any of the mutuals liked or interacted. Thinking of going apolitical again, might unfollow a lot of political accounts. No offense to anyone I unfollow. Bringing back 2016 era Twitter of mine. Choice between staying informed and politically aware about current affairs and not caring minding my own business while disconnecting from politics.

I was about to make breakfast 🍳 and saw this. Poor people going through water like zombies to get food. They don't even know if they will to get to carry anything back without getting that ration wet & wasted, let alone safely cook. will be able*

This will be too long, where do I begin ? Ok let's go. 1/n Let me start from childhood, getting raised in garrisons having great admiration for armed forces considering then ultimate patriotic saviors. Wanting to become brave like them and sacrifice life for country I grew up idolizing armed forces. 2/n

It's hard to present evidence but in the light of US-PAK relations history and how it works my speculative assumption is that US threatened Pakistan in October post CIA director William visit in September. 👇📖 Threat was of dire consequences for our role in Afghanistan as basis for it to be sanctioned. It came when CIA pushed for Counter Terrorism cooperation and base in Pakistan for post Afghan Withdrawal. Earlier in August Secretary Defence had called before Kabul fell.

Pakistan's current political scenario needs to be seen in a wider context of geopolitics of world and region. Thread on my assessment and opinion of what lead things to where they are. Everyone has a right to disagree as their information might vary depending on their sources 👇 First of all Afghanistan situation, the US pullout and Taliban take over has had serious impact on the whole Imran Khan ouster scenario. Second big impact is of Ukraine-Russia conflict, Western bloc response and global pressure by US. 👇

You think they will not have "plausible denial" ready they are not seeking it ? Professional murderers always prepare "Alibi" first before murder if they get caught. I had no plan but about to turn this in to thread of how it works. 👇 1/n Normal relations, like trade, aid, talks continue but agencies like @NSAGov and their @NSACyber wing keep recording all calls of Military officers, government officials, politicians, media and everyone in many countries including Pakistan. On ground @CIA & @DefenseIntel 2/n👇

How confident are we that Vipin doesn't sell Uranium in his off time ? Pakistan ranks better than India on nuclear security Index. Worry about India. Even at height of insurgency in 2009 Pakistan nuclear facilities didn't get target. Security is fool proof. Better than India as per Nuclear safety index.

I think we have 25 million children out of schools. Millions doing child labor hardly getting to learn values & religion. So many orphans without proper upbringing. Behavior, etiquettes, respect isn't going to be taught by beggar mafias either. Then there are educated ones too. There are rich spoiled ones too, whom parents & teachers failed to teach them appropriate behaviors and discipline them. There are children of divorced parents who have seen domestic violence in their houses growing up without any therapy & coaching to guide them.

Substantiate these claims with satellite imagery or aerial footage. US/NATO stayed 20 years even had bases inside Pakistan. CIA operated inside Pakistan in last decades and had significant presence across borders, monitored all movements and communications. Taliban have been using US/NATO supplied equipment since years now that they captured or Afghan Army gave them. Plenty of videos if you research. Beside why would ISI send Pakistani equipment to get framed & caught red handed ? Is ISI this dumb in your opinion ?

Its not 1990s anymore. There is social media, diplomacy has changed and post 9/11 scenario in regards to terrorism has changed. We have tried & tested armed resistance in 90s. Border measures have stricken much ever since too. Nor we have that much excess fighters. No such plan Kashmiri struggle can succeed by pen & camera. Educated Kashmiri's abroad and within occupied Kashmir have to learn English get followers and post videos of atrocities. We need army of Kashmir activists to get International support like Palestine got this time.

To get serious answers you need to ask the right questions. So first of all, are some Pakistani celebrating Taliban take over or fall of Kabul regime ? Don't conflate the two. Now about why are some Pakistanis jubilant over fall of Kabul regime ? A brief thread to answer this. Your tweet itself answers it from 2007-2014 Pakistan had worst insurgency and terrorism with attacks and suicide blasts taking place everywhere. Guess who was behind that ? Kabul regime NDS and R&AW aiding, abetting and sponsoring TTP financially, technically and materially.

This is enough evidence that media is free in Pakistan. Even after saying all this he will remain alive unless of course some other agency targets him to implicate our agencies. If they were sure ISI works with such impunity they will think 100 times before such tone & words. Agencies do employ fear & intimidation tactics globally. People that support separatists, anarchists, violent extremism are often sent warnings by various means. Unfortunately our agencies are not that legally empowered & have capacity issues to do so subtly within ambit of law.

Following religion is getting harder given the world is becoming more liberal & secular. Individualism is taking over. Air Blue incident made me reflect and revisit my thoughts some of which I have jotted down in this thread earlier in April. Prophecy of such a time was revealed by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) that such times will come when following religion will be as difficult as grasping hot coal. Religion is going to get even harder to follow in coming times. Image

#Xinjiang #Uighurs #China This thread will feature CIA role in Xinjiang which is less known but US claims 1 million+ Muslims are detained there leaving out the pretext to current situation which US created. Before dwelling in to details its very important to understand significance of Xinjiang and its neighbors. Also important to note Belt and Road Initiative which is biggest connectivity initiative of the century connecting Asia to Europe and bolstering trade, influence and economy

Government strategy is simple regarding Covid. Lockdown over long period of time is economically unsustainable therefore let's open it all up and reach the peak which we either way will sooner or later so why delay and hurt economy. So its up to people to follow SOPs. Whether its a good strategy, bad strategy or no strategy that's debatable. Could government had handle it better from start ? Possibly, yes. Mixed signaling didn't help. Unfortunately medical professionals are the collateral damage in all this and lives are at stake.

Most number of casualties Pakistan has suffered were due to IED attacks and ambushes. In neighboring Afghanistan US losses are half due to use of MRAPs, CAS and AME. Many of these lives could have been saved had we prioritized blood over money. Just to give you perspective, Army mainly relies on pickups and trucks of various companies but none of them has any protection against IEDs or firing if ambush is set from rocks or bushes by terrorists 700m away. Most lives lost in Balochistan and Waziristan due to it.

Pakistani media has some people with vested interests who work for foreign agendas. US funding to Pakistani media personnel is not a secret yet governments turn a blind eye. In any country you can't let foreign interests shape the narrative and twist the things as foreigners want. US injected money in to Pakistani media over the years to cultivate relations to make them do US state department's bidding. theguardian.com/world/2013/apr…
