God will keep reminding you about the last instruction you received or just keep silent. So, when someone says: "I am not hearing from God,' it is probably because there is an instruction that has not been obeyed.

Don't be deceived. There is no such thing as generational curses. What exists is generational stupidity, generational foolishness, generational ignorance and generational superstition passed down from ignorant parents to their children. When you are in Christ and you become a Christ-driven, wisdom-driven, kingdom-driven individual, this affliction and its attendant consequences of fear, mental laziness, geographical containment and poverty will be neutralized and broken from your life forever.

Thread. Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns in worship to the Lord. They were not praying and singing 'to get a miracle ' or 'to get a breakthrough' or 'to bring down heaven.' They had no such intention or agenda.

But Millions of Nigerians are rushing to migrate to Canada. They see poverty in Nigeria.

Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu are not idiots. They see what 90% of Nigerians do not see. It is better to follow the path of the wealthy than to follow the path of the majority who are trying to escape from Nigeria.

I am yet to see one person who left Nigeria broke and became a billionaire abroad.

It is easier to become wealthy in Nigeria than in the UK.

Where you are in life is as a result of a 'cause' within you.

About 14 years ago I was on a flight from the UK to Lagos. I met a Nigerian man who had lived in the UK for 14 years. He had a very sad story to tell about his sojourn abroad.

Thread. He was a manager in a Nigerian Bank before he sold everything and travelled abroad. When he got there he placed his kids in schools and his wife trained for nursing.
He could not get a job like what he had in Nigeria. He made do with the jobs he could find.

It is in human nature to overestimate our importance and value in people's lives and in what we do. We think :"without me this business will fail," "without me my spouse will suffer, where will he find a woman like me who will give him all I give him?"
This is delusional./1 No business depends on you. Without you the business will do much better and even if it fails, someone else will come up with a better idea, product or service to meet that need. When Steve Jobs died, Apple did much better. The business was not dependent on him./2

In American movies and novels, something evil is always about to destroy the world and an American hero saves the world by stopping it. Such events never happen in Africa. We never see African heroes save the world. We must change this narrative./1 I grew up reading African writers series. While I was being taught our traditions, the average American child was taught to think global, was taught to dominate and save the world. Some of you don't understand the place of prayer.
You try to use prayer for what prayer was not designed for.

Jesus said in Luke 18:1, you ought to pray always and not faint.

This means prayer is very important.
You have to learn how to use it wisely./1 Jesus never prayed for money.

He never asked for miracle money.
The times that he needed money, he told Peter to work for it.
He gave Peter specific instructions and when Peter followed them, he got the money they needed./2
