Ten years have now passed since the inception of whatever strange process it was that led me to write Neuromancer, Count Zero & Mona Lisa Overdrive. The technology through which you now access these words didn't exist, a decade ago. Neuromancer was written on a "clockwork typewriter," ... a Hermes 2000 manual portable, dates from somewhere in the 1930's.
