The one competitive NY district that went Blue was NY18, where I live. This district was won completely by intense grassroots ground game, up and down the ballot. I saw a lot of it first hand. 🧵
First, @PatRyanUC was trying to win a special election in August, and to do so his team mobilized so many folks on the ground. Door knocking everywhere. I did a round of EVP canvasing, and Pat Ryan's folks had been to lots of those houses already. It was impressive.
