I was talking to my friend from US.

He's very convinced that Kumbh, Election &Holi are reasons for sudden spike in COVID cases.

Toolkit gang, together with our anti-nationals are writing articles, SM, messages.. yes, doing everything to ensure that this narrative sticks.

They conveniently ignored that health is a state subject. They don't tell you the fact that few state govts failed to uphold their constitutional responsibility of public health management.

This Shivaratri visited nearby Shiva temple run by the trust.

Clean, peaceful, excellent crowd control, polite archakas. Priest explained me work done by temple trust during Covid

We managed our temples for 1000s of years, what happened in last few decades?

In 1878, British colluded with local leaders & took over properties of Puri Jagannath temple.

'Secular' India used Hindu Religious Endowments Act to take over temples.

Hindus, only Hindus are not considered capable of managing their temples on their own.

Without any fear or guilt, misappropriation and looting of:

- Temple Donations
- Temple properties
- Temple gold
- Ancient murthis
- Temple rituals
- Temple upkeep....

Its painful to see many Archakas are paid peanuts, some temples have no oil for lamps! :(
