aside from being perhaps the most tasteless thing i’ve ever encountered, this musical about the nazi rally that killed a woman less than two years ago is premised on a pretty easily discovered fundamental factual inaccuracy.

the torch march on the night of august 11, 2017 was on the grounds of the university of virginia. the statue they gathered around was of thomas jefferson.
if you’re going to make a mockery of other people’s trauma, at least do 30 seconds worth of research & get it right.
