It’s interesting how things happen in cycles.

1. When I was a kid, I loved how international the internet was- talking with people who were into the same obscure video games as me.

2. Then I discovered 🇸🇬 local internet and went deep into local cultural/political commentary

3. Eventually I got tired and frustrated of how insular that bubble was, and dropped out of that game to journal intensively

4. Discovered new international audience on Quora, Reddit, Twitter

5. Visited SF

7. Now back in 🇸🇬 and feeling compelled to do (2) again but better

8. Also intend to visit lots of other cities around the world now. Slingshot harder and faster around everything, everywhere

9. And also journal intensively, and also be local, and also never lose sight of the fundamental joy and appeal of (1)
