And John Mulaney thinks *Delta* sucks. They got nothing on @AmericanAir. American booked my ticket for the wrong day, which I could've found out in time if their website had let me check in on time yesterday when I tried. Now I just had to pay $184 to go home on my "free" flight.
But hey, they're gonna give back 12K of Mom's 400K+ #AAdvantage miles, which would be great if not for the fact this was the first time in 4y she'd tried to use any bc it went so badly the OTHER time she booked me a reward flight with AA. Win-win for @AmericanAir, lose-lose 4 us.
If you're going to get a rewards-earning credit card, you should probably look for one that either gives cash (e.g., @Discover) or gives miles on a company that doesn't want to punish you every time you try to use them (i.e., NOT @AmericanAir/@Citibank).
