Ted Wheeler press conference now about shooting on Saturday. @Rjaellis starts with question about Wheeler statement last year about making protesters "hurt a little" and if he feels responsible for political violence. Ofcourse he doesn't take responsibility
@ChiefCLovell claims he's not gonna speculate about political motive by shooter who yelled at protesters calling them terrorists and had tons of evidence showing he was vocal about wanting to kill BLM and Antifa

The Portland mass shooter has been identified as Ben Smith,44, who has a history of violence and has vocally talked about killing Antifa and BLM protesters in the past. He became more radicalized over the last 2 years and is a fan of Andy Ngo.

Ben Smith IS NOT A HOMEOWNER & the killing WAS politically motivated. He is a part of the #furry community which has a history of alt-right ties. Furrys fall all across the political spectrum though. Reports that he sells ghost guns & is a gun fanatic.

#PortlandMassShooter Ben Smith followed Andy Ngo on you tube. Sources say he was a big fan of Ngo. It is unclear if Ben Smith knew about JFPK March from Andy Ngo. Ngo demonized them as armed extremists that attack the public. Smith called victims terrorists before opening fire

Wasn't Bryan Trottier, the Canadian far right social butterfly whose comrades keep accusing him of being a fed (and who I have confirmed is a fed), working with or otherwise trying to get in with Exeintel?
For greater clarity, Trottier bragged about being the source of this info #AndyNgo reblogged about a local Syrian activist (and friend) following a #DaveRubin/#MaximeBernier protest in Canada. They also made this information available to Hamilton Police.
This means that the harassment of a Syrian immigrant, and subsequent #harassment of his family's restaurant (an incident which elicited a tweet from Justin Trudeau) was directed through an organization being run by an #FBI special agent. toronto.ctvnews.ca/popular-syrian…

@CoachFelecia From time-to-time, ethnic personalities similar to that of #AndyNgo have appeared in right-wing movements ..

You just have to look for them.

These "ethnic" individuals aren't there to discover the truth!
@CoachFelecia They are their to provide a service. That is their value.

What is the service? They are weaponized to confuse the public while empowering "lily-white" delusions about black people.
@CoachFelecia These individuals...

“'They operate like a crime syndicate. They don’t operate like a normal paper where you can trace the money, the editorialization, the ethics, where you can actually understand who is involved in the outlet at any given time and what their purpose is,' the former writer said."
Another writer "strove to approach hot-button topics with a neutral tone and that senior editor 'Barrett Wilson'—who operates under a pseudonym despite the site’s ethical guidelines about staff being 'forward with their identity'—was open to letting her do so until Ngo arrived."
"She recalled noticing a change in the tone of their pieces during editing shortly after #AndyNgo joined the media outlet. RWW reviewed a Google Doc with track-editing intact that supported her characterization of Ngo’s editing contributions."

Thank you, #UBC Executive for cancelling the Free Speech Club's #AndyNgo event.

Good luck, JCCF and John Carpay, with your wild threats about legal action. Knock yourself out. If you actually have the gumption to follow through. If you do, I'm looking forward to you failing. 1/
JCCF "demand letter":

"We urge that UBC not abandon one of 'its primary functions' of 'providing a forum where ideas can be expressed, debated & challenged.' Concerns for safety & security must be addressed in accordance with Cd’s rule of law as a free & democratic society." 2/
The JCCF letter to the UBC president, sent on Dec 31, 2019, cites from the university's web page on freedom of expression. Not really something you can base a law suit on. Here's a link to the university's statements on freedom of expression:

@1Aplus2A These are rather mangled ideas you’ve put together.

1) Right to free assembly protects us from government overreach. It does not limit which public tweets I can and cannot retweet.

2) Of course Anna has the right to block me; I’ve asserted so several times.
@1Aplus2A 3) Yes, I disagree with Anna. On several points. Only a portion of them I have elaborated on here on Twitter. Whether I disagree with someone (& there are many with whom I do) is no indication whatsoever of them being or not being a Nazi-sympathizer.
@1Aplus2A 4) I have not accused Anna of being a Nazi-sympathizer. I take strong issue, however, with her editorial choices regarding Michael Thurlow and I do not think she has sufficiently disavowed those choices.
