Because of covid, #AppleFIRE evacuees can’t sleep at the high school. No cots have been set up. Instead Am Red Cross volunteers are trying to get them hotel rooms

#AppleFire #CherryValley, Tanker 137 off the ground Santa Maria. 1 VLAT on order. Keeping no-divert status in place on air tankers.
The #AppleFire continues to burn at about 350 acres total just north of #Beaumont in #CherryValley. Evacuations are under way for several homes along Oak Glen Rd. Tanker 944 is 15 minutes out.
