It is a long-awaited change from #ProofOfWork to #ProofOfStake or to be more precise the merging of the #PoW Execution Layer with the #PoS Execution Layer.
This will bring the #Ethereum Chain into a new era by removing miners and using validators instead.

As @epolynya has alluded to several times, #TPS numbers are almost meaningless now. Especially anything under 100k.

Seignorage is the difference between the value of money and the cost to produce and distribute it. For coins, it is the face value of the metal plus the minting cost, for paper money it is mostly the production cost. The creator/issuer has traditionally been the government.

Looking at the valuations of these L1 platforms, I think we are closer to the top than the bottom. With L1's looking more plated out, it's time to front-run the market rush that will come for #ETH L2's.

2/ Imagine a giant bus terminal with people who want to board a bus to get to the next stop. Buses come every 10-15 seconds. The buses have a fixed number of seats and the driver can select the people to fill all the seats.
