I CAN’T KEEP CALM

1. I just can’t believe it that I cycled home from work today.

It took about 90 minutes (20 minutes above my app’s advise). I’ve lost memory of the last time I rode a bicycle for 15 minutes but it must have been in the neighborhood of a decade and a half. ImageImage
2. I just can’t describe the feeling. I felt exactly how @rachel_e_bryson felt the day she ran marathon but I did better because I did it without any prep. My wife’s reaction? Mixed feelings: she couldn’t be prouder of me but was a bit concern - just being the caring that she is.
A moment later, she was like “can I try it a bit” and I was like “here we go”. Meanwhile, the kids went agog! They never thought Baba could ride. I loved every second. I’d do it again and again and again. A brand new chapter in life. #EarthDay2019 @friends_earth @BBCEarth.

Today is earth day! Our planet is a amazingly beautiful place of life of diversity. It pains me to see how our actions have made our home worse instead of better.

But we can all do small things every day to help. We can pickup trash when we see it, eat less meat, and carpool when we can. There is often the mentality of if I can't do everything, then why bother. You don't need clean up the entire planet, or become vegan to make a difference ImageImage
If everyone came together and did just a little bit, it would all add up to be alot :) Let's all do our best to keep our home, planet earth, as beautiful as it can be!

Hemp is one of the world’s oldest crops. It also happens to be one of the most versatile.

From fabrics to paper, the hemp plant provides a way to live in harmony with the environment and the ecosystems that support it.

Did you know #hemp is naturally resistant to pests? Unlike cotton or flax (which are estimated to consume 50% of all pesticides) growing hemp does requires fewer pesticides or herbicides, when pesticides are sprayed on land, they can easily seep into water sources such as a river.
Hemp can grow in a wide variety of terrains and soil types. It forms deep roots helping to hold the soil together. This in turn prevents soil erosion.
