1/8 There seem to be a lot of misconceptions re: Freemasons.

It’s fascinating how instantly people jump on the bandwagon to hate them while crying “use discernment!” and “open your eyes and wake up!” - w/o applying the same principles of wisdom to this topic.

Let’s explore…
2/8 “What the #pope actually said was that the #SalvationArmy, the #Baptist church, the #Buddhists, and the #Mormons—in fact, every member of the human race who was not a Roman #Catholic—was part of the “kingdom of Satan.”

(All quotes from “Born in Blood” by John J. Robinson) Image
3/8 “What the pope actually complained of was the separation of church and state, but once again, we’ll let the pope speak for himself, remembering that when he uses the word church, he means the Roman Catholic church only:” Image

1. Thread on Mormon child abuse and mind control #mormons #LDS #LatterDaySaints #ChurchofLatterDaySaints #csa #childabuse #ritualabuse #sra Image
2. Good place to start is July 1990 a 12 page internal LDS Church memo, called the Pace Memo. It lays bare that satanic ritual child abuse happens in the Mormon church, as told by 60 victims who were church members. #sra #mormons #childabuse #ritualabusecathyfox.wordpress.com/2022/06/24/ut3…
3. The Pace Memo above destroys any argument from desperate ritual abuse deniers or the mormon child abuse deniers. Ritual abuse happens and it happens the Mormon church. #PaceMemo #sra #ritualabuse #childabuse #csa Image

In a facebook discussion of the crappy Mormons who felt entitled to stiff a 15-year-old girl who babysat 7 kids for 9 hours because they went to the temple, someone pointed out that this is a clear example of "moral licensing." 🧵1/

Moral licensing is the psychological phenomenon wherein humans feel that doing something they perceive as good--say, working out at the gym--gives them permission or license to do something they perceive as bad, or at least less good--like having an extra large smoothie. 2/
Those immoral #Mormons justified the moral evil of cheating & lying to a minor who cared for their children all day because they perceived doing a temple session as so righteous that it canceled out any fraud & deception they might have committed. 3/

One reason I’m labeled an “enemy” is for my absolute disgust that their attempt to portray themselves as normal sex-positive humans was so blatantly disrespectful and dehumanizing.

That’s because @Ch_JesusChrist honestly believes we’re not worth respecting or humanizing. @CIA
In the same vein where medical research has burdened themselves with the misogyny that "men are just better versions of women," #Mormons are burdened with the assumption that they are better humans than EVERYONE ELSE, therefore to pretend to be someone "less" should be EASY.
To assert that in the worlds they look down upon have a sense of balance, humanity, or a SPIRITUALITY is tantamount to heresy and is always dismissed as a "false" or "temporary" condition... a trick by Satan.

Anyone who believes differently is automatically an "enemy."

Hey fellow #LDS #Mormons, I know this stresses some of you out, but the Church stance is pro-legal abortion. If we want abortions available for incest, rape, or health of the mother, that requires legal abortion. If you agree with the Church, you are also pro-legal abortion.
This may stress you out further, but we could also accurately say the Church is pro-choice — we want those who we think "qualify" for an abortion to be able to choose one if they want. That's pro-choice.
If the Church stance changes, and all abortions are forbidden no matter what — even for cases like: the pregnancy is killing the mother, the fetus has died in utero, or an 11 yr old child was raped and impregnated by her father — then that would be an anti-abortion stance.

Hey #LDS #Mormons quick question. Our doctrine says our souls existed before we were born, before the earth was created, before our parents ever had sex. But we have no doctrine on when the soul enters the body. When do you personally believe the soul enters the body?
I'm especially interested in hearing from those of you who are #LDS and believe the soul enters the body at conception. If that's the case, then what's your take on the body + soul in a miscarriage? Was that their shot at a body?
Like, a soul is waiting in the pre-existence, their parents have sex, they are officially conceived, and then the pregnancy miscarries at 12 weeks. Is that tough luck for that soul? That was their experience with a body? Or do they get another chance with another body?

Very interested in opinions of #Mormons and non-Mormons on what *really* happened with Joseph Smith and the revelations. Please serious responses only.
This coming as I finish reading "Rough Stone Rolling" by practicing Mormon Richard Lyman Bushman.
Would love a little signal-boost on this, Tweeps with larger followings @SamRochadotcom @ChasePadusniak @jdflynn @_CLancellotti

I'm gonna go on a bit of a rant here ABOUT A DATE because I just remembered something that annoyed me to no end 4 years ago and I didn't rant about it at the time so I'll do that now while I am waiting for my coffee to brew. So first: Yes, I went on a date once! [thread]
I actually went on a few dates with this person but it was this one date that set something off. Somehow we got onto the topic of #TheMoomins. Now I am Finnish, Moomins are Finnish, I feel strongly about this one. All Finns do. Even if we don't we do when we talk about them with
someone less Finnish than we are. And this date was so un-Finnish they were Australian. So I mentioned that I loved Moomins. They go "Really? Aren't they a bit annoying?". So I was fumin'. Who the f*ck finds Moomins annoying? Not on my turf! So I told them how it was.
