A draft map of NC House districts has been uploaded.

My understanding is that today is the only day that the #NCGA will be accepting public comments on this map.

I don't know when that map was uploaded - wasn't there a few days ago. How are regular people supposed to able to stay up with all this in time to meaningfully participate in the process?
The @princetongerry score card gives the #NCGA NC House proposed voting district map an "F"

Listening in on the NC House UNC Board of Governors nominations meeting this morning. Get excited! #ncpol #ncga
Rep. William Richardson is not happy with the process for finding the UNC BOG members saying they're not following the process, they're leaving people out of finding board members and that they shouldn't just nominate six and accept those six. #ncleg #ncga
Rep. Richardson asked if there was a memo put out that they could nominate someone because he hadn't heard about it. Rep. Kelly Hastings said its known that this was coming up and anyone could have called him, texted, emailed, etc.

Thread on A Tale of Two Cases…
You don’t change the rules after the game has started. As we’re seeing, changing the rules after kickoff is one problem with @NCSBE’s secret adventure last week—I’m going to tell you about another. (1/9) #ncpol
At the same closed session where the @NCSBE bent over backwards to “settle” with Democratic super-lawyer Marc Elias, the same @NCSBE decided they had “no interest in compromis[ing]” to help a group of blind voters. (2/9) #ncpol
Both the @NCSBE lawyers and the @JoshStein_ lawyers admitted that the blind voters were right, but claimed it was “too late” to doing anything about it. They even told a judge the blind voters were right on the law. (3/9) #ncpol

THREAD: Republicans in multiple states are using their #lameduck legislative sessions to cheat the system in a blatant attempt to entrench their own power and undermine the will of the voters. Craziness has been going down in WI, MI, NC, and OH. Let’s dig in: 1/
Last week, Wisconsin passed measures to cut early voting and strip powers from the incoming Dem Governor @Tony4WI & Attorney General @JoshKaulWI. This was after Republicans lost all statewide offices in November. #WIPowerGrab. #WisconsinisWatching 2/
If that sounds desperate and shady to you, oh, it was. The GOP was literally handing out copies of their hastily written bills and Dems had to beg for time to read them before voting literally in the middle of the night. (I know because I was up waiting all night!) 3/
