Le chapitre est totalement centré sur le combat Luffy/Kaido ce qui est assez cool, et montre clairement qu'on se dirige vers la fin de la Bataille !
Maintenant, est-ce qu'Oda vas faire de ce combat, un combat de cartoon jusqu'à la fin?

En fait, il faut comprendre qu'on viens de découvrir que le FDD qu'on pensait que Luffy, mais est le Hito Hito no mi mythologique model Nika ! Et que ce dernier est completement "extravagant", "ridicule" peut importe le synonyme utilisé, ça reviens au même.

Le chap #OnePiece1044 nous a révélé en parallèle de l’éveil de Luffy que le FDD dont parlait le Gorosei au chap 1037 est le Gomu Gomu no mi, qui n’est pas un paramecia comme on pensait le savoir depuis le début mais en réalité le fruit mythologique de l’humain, modèle Nika.
Autant j’aime bcp ce PU et ce que cette révélation apporte au développement de Luffy (que je vais très rapidement aborder même si ce n’est pas le sujet du thread), mais dans les faits cette révélation pose des problèmes de cohérence dans le manga, ce que je vais exposer ici.

Let’s start with the first one, Luffy’s first liberation in freeing Koby from his enslavement at the hands of Alvida and allowing him to join the Navy, even though his now friend would be becoming an enemy, Luffy chooses freedom over adversity.
There’s a couple in between then and now that I’ll skip over.
Nami gets the double whammy of liberations, Luffy frees Nami personally here and covers her with his hat, showing she is under his protection now.
He later frees Cocoyasi Village when he destroys Arlong Park.
