#PWFA would make it clear that employers MUST provide pregnant employees reasonable accommodations — such as schedule changes or a break from heavy lifting - that would enable workers to keep working while maintaining a healthy pregnancy.

Pregnancy is not a disability but sometimes workers need an easy fix to stay on the job. A stool. A bathroom break. But too often, the boss won't make that change. Women are fired or forced on unpaid leave while pregnant in the middle of a global pandemic.
The #PWFA will #ProtectPregnantWorkers and give them the certainty and security they need to stay on the job. It's good for business, good for workers, and good for families.
