#StThérèse's "little way" showcases the virtue of magnanimity, the stretching out of the soul in desire to do great things, even if hindered by circumstance or vocation in accomplishing them. One cannot be "love in the heart of the Church" without wanting to be and do all things.
"These three priviliges are my vocation: Carmelite, spouse, and mother. And yet I feel in myself other vocations—I feel myself called to be a soldier, apostle, doctor of the church, martyr...I feel in my soul the courage of a crusader...I feel in me the vocation of a priest!"
As a cloistered nun, #StThérèse could not live all of theses vocations simultaneously, but to want them--to be ready to live them, in humble satisfaction with the vocation that one in fact has been given--manifests a love perfected by the graced desire to embrace what is great.
