A while back I tried to get MidJourney to produce some nice Chinese Watercolour / Ink, Wall Scroll style paintings, in v3.

The original results were a bit wishy-washy as I was a noob...

@midjourney_ai #aiart #aiartcommunity #digitalart #MidJourney #Chinese #Watercolour

🧵...
But the results improved greatly with some reference images for the #AIart to grab onto. However it was still missing something to make it feel like the real thing... And that Red Crowned Crane🤢 ...

🧵...
But recently @midjourney_ai made it possible to do 2:3 and 3:2 aspect ratios in v4, and I decided to re-visit the concept with v4.

It started out promising with almost exactly the same prompt and reference image. This time with a little --chaos added

Seriously, can someone tell me where the #waterfall in my tweet above is located? The source account doesn’t list it. Many other accounts that have posted it in the past haven’t mentioned it. Someone knows where this is — help me out! 😊

Here we GO 😎

Remember how the Software Industry mis-read one paper and got stuck with an "implementation described above [that] is risky and invites failure."
Yup, that was #Waterfall. We might have seen some sense with #agile and now we risk to undermine this again with #scaling nonsense
Turns out plenty has already been written on the pitfalls of scaling (yup, already in the 70's, 80's, 90's....) and there are some great books and papers that lay it out explicitly and bluntly. Some of these papers supposedly know by the industry.
If there is one paper you should read, it is "How Do Committees Invent?" by @conways_law.
It's not just the origin of "Conways Law", it's also packed with compelling observations about scaling and legacy systems we're doomed to write.
Read it today.

#Agile means everything is progressive. Everything move sprint per sprint. If that is the case then why do UX rush to finish User Journeys in the Zero Sprint? Isn't that supposed to be done over Sprints.
If we are creating User Journey in Zero Sprint, won't that make the whole exercise a 2 week long #Waterfall? Maybe Cargo Cult Agile. #designthinking #UserJourney @JosephPhillips @NNgroup #projectmanagement #sprint
@JoshuaKerievsky Please have a look at this thread. Can you suggest any pointers?
