Let's look at different rankings -
-#GlobalHungerIndex: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka are almost bankrupt & yet they're ahead of India
-#WorldHappinessIndex: India ranks lower than Iraq and Pakistan
-#GlobalPeaceIndex: India ranks lower than Palestine and Bangladesh

-#WorldPressFreedomIndex: India is 9 places below #Afghanistan, where there is NO freedom at all.
This doesn’t even pass an elementary smell test.
Are they trying to say that the Govt of India is worse than #Taliban?
It says a lot about the credibility of such indexes!

First of all, no-one care about these foreign paid-out indexing, but then many within our country use these reports to malign every aspect of country. That's why its important to burst their agenda with facts and logic.

2/
RSF is a bunch of USA and Eupore-funded bunch of journo/editors/media etc who are "watchdog" of freedom of press.

However, RSF has always been under heavy criticism for its biased & agenda-driven methodology. e.g.
here it is Hungary accused RSF for "interfering".

At their very best, journalists are inconvenient truth-tellers and protectors of our public conscience. These standards are stress-tested hardest in moments of elections, coups, and conflict across the world.

Kenya is not among the most dangerous countries but we continue to dip in the #WorldPressFreedomIndex fueled by autocratic laws, a narrow media ownership, active discouraging of journos from joining @KUJ_Kenya and the violence #WorldPressFreedomDay
