I'm starting to see my own generation #Millennials kind of low key going after #zoomers and initially I was part of that until I realized something: it's boils down to frustration of Millennials being the poorest generation in seventy years..
And then seeing article after article promoting zoomers as being more successful than our generation. So it's likely the media pushing Gen Y and Gen Z to go at each other.
Another reason for the split could be because of the 2020 primaries. In 2016 39% of the Dem primary electorate was 44 and younger, in 2020 it was 35% for those bw 18-44. Younger voters did not turn out in large enough numbers which has led to resentment bw Gen Z and Y.
