This always provokes two questions:

1. What about heroes who beat the odds? Well sure, but a better system wouldn't need them as much.
2. What makes a system good or bad? That's a different kind of question.
There is also the #herocomplex - that some people prefer dysfunctional places to work since that makes it possible to be the hero. They are bored in healthier places, so in the extreme they work against real organizational health.

I have no doubt @realDonaldTrump will be putting a stop children being separated from their parents. Now, before you think I’m about to give him praise or credit for doing the right thing, hear me out..
I believe @realDonaldTrump has a Hero Complex about him. Not that he steps in to do the right thing, to be a hero, when something is wrong. He intentionally makes things worse, or orders his administration to make something worse, so then he can turn around and be the hero.
This is characterization is know as #HeroComplex. Here is the loose definition and examples of who would do this type of thing.
