The data are not user friendly. You download a zip file, which contains .txt files for each county. You can copy and past into a spreadsheet or upload into a statistical software package. #OpenAccess #Elections dos.myflorida.com/elections/data…

Weird thing though: the aggregate voter information is there for most of the counties, but NOT PALM BEACH @pbpost . The # registered in each precinct is missing. So are the # of votes for each candidate. Just zeros. At least as of today.

I called the Florida Division of Elections, they confirmed it was not user error. Those variables are blank. I was told to go to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of elections to get those data. #Data #PBC #Election2018

While I am happy to do that, it also seems weird that a random citizen has to 1) catch this error; 2) try to fix the error. Especially since Sunshine State Laws are supposed to guarantee access to information... and this seems pretty important for a free and fair #Election

Keep in mind, both Palm Beach County & Broward were in the news A LOT during this past #Election2018. Both are blue counties with HUGE populations. Senate, Governor, Agriculture Commissioner all very close races. wtsp.com/article/news/p…
