@PoliceNG There is a certain level of near-bestial action which Nigerians observe in their security forces which can only make one wonder what a non-uniformed Nigerian's life is worth IF persons who bear arms in the name of the State can be this evil and ruinous towards each other

@PoliceNG Tis ONE reason why #BokoHaram remain on the prowl. The higher priorities are inter-service rivalry and exhibitions of dislike for each other's guts as security forces jostle to secure their places on some quirky pecking order of those who are empowered to brutalise Nigerians

@PoliceNG If Ochigbo drove against traffic, was that peculiar to him? Do cops not regularly drive against traffic themselves since those who enforce the law in Nigeria typically see themselves as being above the law? Was that anything which cops do not do on the regular?

@PoliceNG When have policemen fought each other for driving against the flow of traffic or were these ones fired up just because the excuses for adults felt the need to prove to the NSCDC that "what cops can get away with, civil defenders cannot?"

@PoliceNG What other conclusion is there to be drawn when a blinking police sergeant was pictured while tugging at Ochigbo's uniform? Was that contempt for the late Ochigbo and the NSCDC cos that cop is not likely to do that to an Assistant Superintendent of Police?

@PoliceNG Our security forces do their level best everyday to discredit themselves in the eyes of quizzical sections (dummies excluded) of the citizenry. This country daily shows itself deserving of abandonment. She feels like a sinking ship, no thanks to mind-numbing antics such as this

@PoliceNG Emmanuel and Oche Ochigbo will now live the rest of their lives despising anything to do with the police just because adults refused to act like disciplined men in front of children. Yet we persist in calling for citizens' partnership in advancing the tasks entailed in policing?

@PoliceNG Not surprisingly, the Police have denied it. That's the new normal..an autodenial mode which has spokesmen denying anything on impulse. Presumably, Mrs Ochigbo cannot identify policemen or maybe those were fake cops too?
