1/ 🔙 At the apex of the previous bull run, we saw a bunch of celebrities and socialites all of a sudden endorsing bitcoin and the cryptocurrency space in general.

In the proceeding months, well, we know what happened to the market...
2/ 👀 With bitcoin surging recently, we've begun seeing a lot more *positive* media coverage. Likewise, we've seen certain high-profile figures share crypto-related content with their huge audiences.

Newcomers, if this continues, seriously consider taking profits. Stay vigilant.
3/ 📸 In fact, it's already begun unfolding.

Now, these public figures are certainly no world-class celebrities. But, always, this is how it starts.

This week, we've seen two NFL players, 2015's Miss Finland, and one of the world's best female MMA fighters promote crypto.
4/ 🗣️ You'll get notable figures - who, despite having next to no knowledge on the matter - be asked to share their thoughts on blockchain and/or bitcoin (which, let's be real, are still virtually synonymous to laypeople).

Case in point, earlier in May:
5/ 🖖 Also, you'll see more informed famous persons get behind the crypto space.

One example came last week, when original Star Trek actor William Shatner revealed he'd teamed up with Mattereum to blockchain-ize his Capt. James Kirk action figure.
6/ 🚀 It's worth being mindful of the likes of Elon Musk, who, for many months, has sporadically shed light on the crypto space.
7/ 🐦 Indeed, it'd be remiss of me to omit Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey, who's vouched for bitcoin for many years.

In 2019, he's notably become more public vis-a-vis his allegiance to bitcoin and the crypto space.
8/ 🧠 These endorsements seep into the public consciousness; prompting an influx of new money to enter the crypto market. This accelerates price run-ups until seasoned crypto investors realize what's happening and take profits. Don't be left standing when the music stops.
9/ 📺 Oh, and I almost forgot, starting tomorrow, televisions all across the U.S. will be reminded of bitcoin's existence as Grayscale ramps up its mass-marketing #DropGold ad campaign.
10/ ⏲️ And just to throw in a rumor for good measure: 60 Minutes might air a segment on Bitcoin this weekend, per Barry Silbert, who said "they interviewed three well known (and informed) individuals in the bitcoin space."

Don't get greedy.

{fin}
Well, hours later, and it does indeed seem 60 Minutes will air a segment based on bitcoin!

In it, @AndersonCooper will interview the likes of @CharlieShrem, @LaszloHanyecz, @Marco_Streng, @Neha, and the Fed’s Lael Brainard. cbsnews.com/amp/news/meet-…
