To all those "fleeing" to the USA, understand that the freedom and liberty we enjoy here is due entirely to millions of Americans giving up their lives. Those Americans that fled here before you from despots, mad Kings, Religious persecution, communist hell, and famines...

..among other reasons understood that there was no other place to flee too. They made their stand here. They did it in the Revolutionary War, the war of 1812, the civil war, during the civil Rights era and countless other times. They understood if the USA fell, Liberty fell.

They came for a better life, a better future for themselves and their families. They renounced their home countries and all previous ties. They embraced the USA and it's ideals. They fought for it, bled for it, died for it.

They didn't come here to change it into the hellhole they just left. If you come for the former almost all Americans will welcome you. If you come for the latter, you will face opposition. The more you want to change it into a hellhole the more opposition you will face.

If you really hate the USA and everything it stands for why are you coming? Why not just stay in the hellhole you are in and spruce up the place a little? Seems kind of stupid to travel and sacrifice so much to get here then turn around and make it uninhabitable.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of your new home. Patriotism isn't a four letter word. Freedom isn't evil. Capitalism isn't the anti Christ. All three have created this safe space and without all three, it would just be another hellhole that people will have to flee from.
