ICE discussed cutting off visitation programs at the for-profit migrant prison in Lumpkin, GA for "known adversary" @elrefugioga, one of the only service-oriented nonprofits in Stewart, as retaliation for holding a vigil remembering the life of Jean Jimenez #DetentionKills #FOIA
Here's the Significant Incident Report (SIR) ICE officials drafted and send to HQ about the memorials seeking #JusticeforJean:

#DetentionKills
#KillDetention
And here's ICE officials sharing a screenshot of a web portal demonstrating that, despite at least a half-dozen supervisors responding to questions from ICE HQ about Jean's mental health status, his segregation logs DO NOT note his MH diagnoses or his prior suicide attempts.
Context: Officials at Stewart illegally denied an @elrefugioga's volunteer visitation with Jean just hours before he took his own life. They went public about the denial & the fact that it was El Refugio's "grave concern" for Jean's safety that prompted the visit. ICE blamed CCA.

ICE Spox continues to assert that Stewart Detention Center operates in compliance with its Performance-Based National Detention Standards. This is a "false claim."
Weeks in Solitary Confinement -- not involuntary commitment, not emergency MH stabilization, not medical re-evaluation, not release, not even suicide watch or protective custody -- for the following offense:
Ok, Correction: Even though @elrefugioga works in coalition with GA Detention Watch, it looks like the "known adversary" designation was for the latter org.
