At the time of his death, Casolaro an investigative journalist was chasing down a powerful, secret society that he termed The Octopus.
He called it this because it's powerful and influential tentacles extended across just about the entire planet.

For Casolaro, it all began around 1 1/2 years before his death. He started digging into a man named William Hamilton, formerly of the NSA and a leading software developer.
Hamilton had come up with a highly sophisticated program for the DOJ, one which would significantly help them track and locate wanted criminals. When the gov said that Hamilton was overcharging them, a long and complicated legal battle began. Hamilton was forced into bankruptcy.
But it wasn’t the end for Hamilton’s program called PROMIS. Michael Riconosciuto working for Intelligence making their own versions of Promis, with one big difference: the new version contained a deeply buried “back-door” that would allow the gov to spy on just about anyone
and everyone that used the program. It was sold to 80 countries including Israel and Iran.
The operation could all be traced back to The Octupus.

And field of spies for years. He told Casolaro that people assumed UFOs were advanced military aircrafts. Michael was the one that built the "back door"into the DOJs Promis software. Then when Casolaro was found dead and his book and notes were missing.

studied the autopsy. Was alarmed when he didn't see any hessitant marks which is highly unusual for that kind of suicide. The deepness of the cuts were also not normal. The paramedic also echoed the same sediments saying he had never seen such deep cuts on a suicide before.
"I don't know how he didn't pass out from the pain after the first 2 slashes." The tox report came back with antidepressants in his blood. Yet he didn't have a prescription for those. Nor was he on any prescription drugs. Plus had no medical history of depression and was never
prescribed those drugs. No evidence from the investigation was ever found after his death and whatever other leads he had was lost when he passed.
