@fletcherkathy8 @EsmePendergast @stephenpaton134 what exactly do you think was the foundational belief for conversion therapy? one was that sexuality can be changed at all, and another was that anything but hetero desires were wrong, so therefore they must be pathological and need to be "fixed." @fletcherkathy8 @EsmePendergast @stephenpaton134 The issue is they had already decided their conclusion, that being gay is pathological, so they were just coming up with whatever to try to support their pre-chosen conclusion. This is the same approach taken by many GCs and anti-trans activists to trans people.
