UPDATED #TacticalVoting THREAD: 55 ESSENTIAL TACTICAL VOTING CONSTITUENCIES

Hard Fact: Being tribal and not tactical WILL deliver #Brexit.

How to avoid a Brexit Friday 13th? #TacticalVote or @SwapmyVote [1/21]
This is an update to my last tactical vote thread, viewed over 100,000 times, based on the most recent figures from the YouGov MRP, DeltaPollUK, Survation and the Datapraxis MRP. [2/21]
If stopping a Tory majority and #Brexit is the goal then I’ve selected 55 key seats which REQUIRE #tacticalvoting.

I have also included in brackets how the party which stands no chance of winning the seat is polling at, according to the polls. [3/21]

🌹How #TacticalVoting for @UKLabour can cost the Tories 54 (!) seats based on @YouGov MRP Poll.

All seats below have the nearest People’s Vote parties at least 23% below Labour (except 4 highlighted below).

Labour votes could prevent a Tory majority and a Tory Brexit/No Deal
I’ll list these constituencies & the Labour MP standing in each of them & in brackets show the current vote % compared to the Tories, and how that would change if the pro PV voters voted Labour. As @OwenJones84 has highlighted, splitting the vote here could lead to a Tory MP.
Tactically Voting 🌹 Result +6 seats:

Bassetlaw @MorrisonKeir (-6 to +1) ✅
Bedford @YasinForBedford (-1 to +14) ✅
Blackpool S @GordonMarsden (-6 to +2) ✅
Bolsover Dennis Skinner (-4 to +3) ✅
Bury N @JamesFrith (0 to +7) ✅
Bury South @Lucy4BurySouth (-3 to +7) ✅

You believe Corbyn is a Brexiteer. (*For this tweet*, let's say he is).
So you don't vote Labour despite them being the clear tactical choice in your area.
As a Result, Boris Johnson makes Brexit happen.
Who wins? Corbyn.
If you want to hurt Corbyn: Vote Labour!😉
#VoteTactically
(Continued)
How stupid would you feel if you found out Corbyn had intentionally dragged his feet for 3 years before supporting a referendum so people like you would be so frustrated with him you wouldn't vote Labour, and therefore Brexit would happen?
#VoteTactically
To sum up...
Refusing to #TacticalVote for Labour because you believe Corbyn secretly wants Brexit is bat-sh** insane, because you'd be helping him get what you believe he wants: Brexit.

Remember this from 2011? - ‘Before the election David Cameron promised NHS staff there would be no more top-down reorganisation of the NHS’. We then had reforms ‘so big they could be seen from space’. Now @Conservatives promise the NHS is not for sale! Yeah right #GE2019 #VoteNHS
And this from 2012? ‘Professor David Green, Vice Chancellor of Worcester University, has written to Mr Cameron asking him to intervene to stop what he called the “madness” of cuts to training numbers’ #GE2019 #VoteNHS telegraph.co.uk/news/health/ne…
Note the Department for Health responded using the metric of a Nurses per Bed increase. Why? Because NHS beds were being cut faster than nurse training numbers! The over 65 year olds weren’t born yesterday. This decimation of the NHS has been a long term @Conservatives project

So my #TacticalVoting #TacticalVote #GE2019 guide is now up to Version 4: jonworth.eu/2019-uk-genera…

The gist of it - now as before - is *how* to vote tactically is pretty clear in the vast majority of cases! 💪
In 500 of 632 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 constituencies how to vote tactically is crystal clear

In 86 of 632 which party is best placed to come 2nd is not clear, but tactical voting is unlikely to work

In just 46 of 632 there are ⁉️, or something is unusual - and even there clarity is emerging
Amongst the 46, according to my analysis:
1 is a special case
1 is a free choice Labour/Lib Dem
3 it's better to vote for the Independent candidate
21 it's better Lib Dem
10 it's better to choose Labour

Our (massive) MRP voter analysis exercises are best-of-breed but we do get people asking how accurate they are locally at a constituency level. Gather round, while we slay that particular data dragon. Or do we..?

THREAD 1/n

bestforbritain.org/getvoting
We love data. It informs everything we do. In fact, according to this WIRED piece on tactical voting, it takes 2.5 days to crunch the data for just one of our MRP surveys, using some pretty hefty cloud computing

wired.co.uk/article/tactic…

So, when someone suggests our figures aren’t necessarily accurate at constituency level, we seek out other data to test the veracity of that claim. Got to arm ourselves against that data dragon.

Tactical Voting for Students
If you're a student, you can register to vote at 2 addresses:
- your home address
- your term-time address.
You can only vote ONCE, but you can choose where you vote so long as you registered at both addresses.
#TacticalVoting #TacticalVote
Now, your vote might have much more "power" at home, or away. For example, your home address might be in a "one party seat" (i.e. one that never changes hands) but your term-time address is in a competitive seat, or vice versa.
So if you want to maximise the tactical value of your vote, think about the characteristics of the two places you *could* vote, then vote in the "correct" one (you can register to do it by post if that helps).
