I mention from time to time. My Swedish ancestors were Settlers of Bishop Hill, Illinois, a failed Utopia. I was the victim of a near tax sale of my farm paying taxes 9 months late and the “progressive “ selectboard only told my husband.
They Violated my Constitutional Rights and Nobody cared.
So I Blog Away, hoping someone will see that Socialism, Anti-Capitalism, takes your Individualism away. Always enjoy your Primetime Live 😎💃🏼Tgiff!

Please listen to People at border having to deal with all the People Coming Through the porous border without structure to handle and sort out true refugees from criminals.Employers hiring people here illegally is a separate issue.
To me, at least several different issues.
@POTUS not popular with about half of USA
Solution: We have an election every 4 years
Porous Border: Invites inappropriate border crossing (ever been at Canadian border? You don’t cross there without papers,scrutiny)
Bad Employers R Bad
I’ll say again, Monkton Vermont selectboard Tried to sell my Century Farm I Owned with my husband for $10,000 (Vermont Property Taxes 9 months late). They never noticed Me, Girl Flatlander Wife Of 4th Generation Vermonter. Violated My Constitutional Rights. Nobody Cared, Nobody!

Today's #TenThings will be TEN THINGS ABOUT YOUR FIRST DRAFT. Because first drafts aren't always what they seem, but you can't know that until you've finished one. I would say it's like climbing your first mountain-- but I've never actually climbed a mountain.
The usual disclaimer: YMMV, my way is not the only way, every journey is different. This advice is aimed at new writers who haven't completed a first draft and who wish to be traditionally published. Whatever works for you is your process, but this is what worked for me.
1. A first draft is NOT a finished book. It may not look or read like a finished book. It may have gaps, inconsistencies, a rushed end, or an awkward beginning. THAT'S NORMAL. You don't have to show it to anyone. If writing advice says your 1st draft *should* be perfect, it lies.

Just look back at your life. When you were happy about something, did you ever wonder about the meaning of life? Did you look inwards to see who you are, what life is all about? Did you feel the need to deeply know about the ultimate Truth? No!
When things go smoothly you just blindly follow the same routine with barely any awareness or consciousness. There is nothing to jolt you into awareness from your routine so you continue without any awareness. But when #pain happens, it makes you look at life objectively.
It forces you to look deeper into life, to learn why you react the way you react and seek to uncover the real #mystery of life. #Pain is the key that can open the door to the world of #reality; the choice is yours to open the door or not.

#Today's story to #EndFamilySeparation Four months ago, Dad and 4-month-old entered at the Texas/Mexico border and requested #asylum. Dad and child were immediately separated and the baby put in ORR custody. #FamiliesBelongTogether
Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
The Mom and Dad now have once weekly Skype calls with their 8-month-old baby. That's right, folks. They Skype with an infant. #EndFamilySeparation #FamiliesBelongTogether
