Our genocide against the indigenous people in what we call Canada is uniquely Canadian in nature. We didn't go out and slaughter indigenous people indiscriminately. Instead we subjected them to death by a thousand small cuts. #VeryCanadianGenocide

Start by stealing their land and corralling them in tiny reserves with no economic basis for independent survival. #VeryCanadianGenocide

Dole out less than subsistence allowances for Housing, Health, Education and Nutrition. #VeryCanadianGenocide

When they stubbornly refuse to die out, steal their children and stick them into residential schools where they are severely punished for speaking their own languages. #VeryCanadianGenocide

Where they are subjected to vicious physical and sexual torture by sadistic priests, nuns, and other religious "volunteers" #VeryCanadianGenocide

Ignore signed treaties, exploit resources on their lands with no consultation or compensation. #VeryCanadianGenocide

Forcibly sterilize indigenous women. Forcibly remove children into adoption and foster #VeryCanadianGenocide

Allow corporations to poison their food supply with Mercury. Let 50 years pass while doing nothing but make and break promises while the people die premature deaths. #VeryCanadianGenocide
