Honda, Audi, & Renault teamed up w/ #China to offer China's oppressive surveillance AI in their cars, which they said will be available in "local" vehicles. Looks like its only in China right now, but you can bet they'll want to expand.

I'm rethinking ever buying Honda again.
This was done in partnership with Alibaba, whose CEO is a member of the Chinese communist party.

Of course this NYT article is shilling FOR communism on behalf of China, but they admitted that Jack Ma, Alibaba's CEO is a member of the communist party.

As a reminder, Alibaba was found to be hosting a database of facial recognition scans. Alibaba denied that they had access to it, but this is the communist party we're talking about. They can deny it all they want, we know what they're doing.

Hmm, this OIG report seems relevant.

An audit of the DOJ's use of "Immigration Sponsorship Programs," which sponsor foreign nationals in the US for use in investigations and prosecutions, such as confidential informants, defendants, and cooperating witnesses.
DHS found over 1,000 foreign nationals for whom they had no current information in February 2018.

The OIG found a total of 62 of them who escaped from the DOJ's control and supervision.

And around that same time, in January 2018, Sessions announced a new team, the Hezbollah Financing and Narcoterrorism Team, to investigate people & networks involved with supporting Hezbollah, which included #ProjectCassandra cases.

Not sure what the details are on this, but British police arrested Pakistani politician Altaf Hussain. The article says it's part of a joint investigation related to speeches he gave.

Pakistan also arrested their former President Asif Ali Zardari yesterday.

Why would PRC force a unification as early as 2021? 1) 2021 is the centenary of the #CCP; anniversaries and dates have massive symbolic importance in China's political culture. 2) Xi wants unification to be part of his legacy. This is the only way that he can outshine #Mao.
