This is wild: Democrats are currently leading in every House district touching the Pacific Ocean.

Uncalled races are #AKAL, #CA26, #CA47, #CA49, & #WA03. Those first four seem very likely to stay blue, while #WA03 still has many ballots left.

Doubt this has ever happened before Image
Note that the USA Today/AP map above still has #OR04 as uncalled, but other media outlets have called it for Dem Val Hoyle, who leads by over 8 points dailykos.com/stories/2022/1…
Apparently, the last time Democrats won every congressional district touching the Pacific Ocean was in the 1870s, when there were far fewer districts & states bordering it

No update to our nonpartisan generic ballot poll tracker this morning for @SplitTicket_, mainly because we have seen no new generic ballot polls (!). But I thought I'd take this thread to go through where our aggregator was at specific days, compared to 538 and RCP.
For the sake of transparency, I'll put up that we have data for our aggregate from June 1 onwards. The data is in the table, on our site. However, we only display the GCB from September 1 onwards in our graphic, which is around when the LV screens begin to hit polls. OK, now...
CA Primary (6/07):
@SplitTicket_: R+2.5
@FiveThirtyEight: R+2.2
@RealClearNews: R+3.4

Unbelievable. Mary Peltola (D) has flipped the Republican-held congressional seat in #AKAL in round 2 of ranked-choice voting, netting 51.47% to Sarah Palin's 48.53%.

Peltola got 40.20% in the first round against Begich/Palin, which was just ~2.5% shy of Biden's 2020 vote share.
We all knew a while back that this was a very distinct possibility, but I am in absolute shock that this happened still. Alaska has sent a Democrat to this seat for this first time in 50 years, and it's happened when a *Democrat* was in the White House.
The biggest congratulations go here to @MaryPeltola for running a hell of a campaign, but let's make sure to give @GalenMetzger1, @Thorongil16, and especially @IvanMoore1 a huge, huge round of applause for their work here.

In other words, Palin now has to squeeze a 14.5k vote margin out of Begich’s 50k votes to win the final ranked-choice round. That may not happen if enough of Begich’s voters a) didn’t rank a second choice or b) dislike Palin so much they ranked Peltola second. #AKAL
Republicans are staring at a potential nightmare scenario here, and Begich has Al Gross to thank for costing him the race.

Had Gross stayed in and split Dem votes w/ Peltola, Palin/Begich would have finished first/second and Dem ballots would have put Begich over the top. #AKAL
We won’t change the rating of the race because voting ended more than a week ago, but if I were forced to describe the outlook now, I’d have a hard time seeing it as anything other than a Toss Up. #AKAL

Wow. The death of the Legal Marijuana Now Party candidate in #MN02 is invalidating the Nov. 3 election in that district, & means there's going to be a special election in February.

This is a Dem-held seat (since 2018) that the GOP is targeting.
Um, indeed: If #MN02 has to be vacant thru January, it gives GOP a decent shot to actually take over MN's House delegation (if they flip #MN07) which would mean MN casts its vote for Trump in the event of an electoral college tie.
This means: Dem Rep. Collin Peterson's re-election bid in #MN07 (rated a toss-up by @CookPolitical) suddenly could be potentially decisive if this were to go to an EC tie.

(Dems would *also* need an idiosyncratic upset in either #MTAL or #AKAL, and more, for this to matter.)

This is great: mcimaps.com/what-if-the-el…

If electoral college ties, Trump is heavily favored. But Dems have outside shot at getting House to deadlock.

How?

1) hold now-Dem/tied delegations, plus
2) TWO of following:
—flip #MTAL
—flip #AKAL
—net 1 in FL
—net 1 in KS
—net 5 in TX
The biggest problem for Biden revealed by @mcimaps's analysis isn't that the conditions outlined there are impossible. Rather, it's that they're especially implausible in a world in which Trump does well enough to tie the electoral college.
If all those conditions still happened to be fulfilled, then Senate would be voting for a VP who may be elevated to the presidency -- & that's the *next* Senate voting with the *current* vice-president's tie-breaking vote. (And 50/50 does seem a plausible result for Nov. 3.)

The entire thread will have 7 important lessons we can learn from Warren Buffet and his life. I hope this inspires a few and would love if it reaches masses.
So don't forget to #retweet and share with your loved once.
1-Rejection is the stepping stone
Warren Buffet a few years ago was rejected by Harvard where he really wanted to get enrolled. Instead of considering this setback as the end of the world,he took it positively and later on ended up being taught by his fav guru Benjamin.
2-Focus
Ever imagined why Warren Buffet prefers to stay in Omaha?
Or is Warren Buffet watching his cell phone again and again while working?
Or is he checking his mails?
Nah,Warren Buffet always focuses on work in hand and stays away from all distractions.

2.The three-day stock market crash and recovery of 1962 showed the world how irrational and unpredictable it is hence stop timing as no1 can.

Nah I am not going to say dont use leverage or typical trading stuff but the fact is that most of us don't have leverage like Buffet has.Buffet uses leverage of his insurance co. for which he doesn't need to pay interest but rather gets premium. Smart haan?
