Some pointers on #PersonalFinance
1) Highly #subjective - depends on earnings, savings & lifestyle. Don't clone approach . Take professional help, if needed.

2)Focus primarily on #skillsets in early years.Automatically #earnings increase. Big salary ,bigger savings.

3) Start #saving early on .
4) Incremental savings must be more than Incremental earnings.

5) Avoid #debt . But if necessary plan well & repay it early on . Beware of snowball effect.

6) Avoid instant #gratification. A lil' self restraint goes a long way in saving up .

7) #Leveraging is disastrous . Not advisable .

8) #ConcentratedPortfolio can backfire big time . Makes sense to go in for a diversified one.

9) #AssetAllocation is equally important .

10) #CreditCards if used sensibly are good ,else disastrous. Educate yourself.

A CIBIL score is a consumer's credit score generated by a credit bureau on the basis of their algorithm. It basically evaluates the credit history based on reflection of repayment and credit profile & thereby determines the eligibility for a loan.

So a good credit score (above 700 generally ) can help us get a loan easily at a relatively better rate of interest.

How? 🤔
It indicates you PLAN well for your financial needs & pay your debts on TIME. Basically " GOOD CREDIT WORTHINESS " .

The price is decided with the help of a syndicate of investment bankers
via a book building process & the minimum subscription is ensured by the underwriters.

Points in favour
1) #Convenience !!
2) Lot of reward points .Yay!
3) Usage at airport lounges & movie tickets & the likes (subject to T&C)
4) Extra time to repay the debt. Duh !! Who doesn't like that!
6) Kind of a status symbol . Mere paas AMEX card hai ,

Points against usage

1) Too much convenience results in thriftness. We end up spending much more.
2) Reward points come with a host of T&C. Are we actually being rewarded also ?
3) Freebies to keep our inflated ego in check . Many a times changed/stopped overnight! 🤷

MF basically is a trust which collects money from different people & this fund is managed by a professional Fund Manager. The Fund manager then invests this money into different asset classes to earn income .
Thus their role is pivotal in the performance of the fund. +

Fund management could be active or passive.
If actively managed it would depend on the manager to pick the components of a portfolio as compared to passive wherein mf is based on an established index & its underlying components. +
