#VaccinationForAll
The @MoHFW_INDIA has allowed on-site registration for the 18-44 age group. This is limited to Government #COVIDVaccination centers (CVCs) at the present moment.
pib.gov.in/PressReleseDet…
#cowinregistration #VaccinationDrive #COVID19 #IndiaFightsCOVID19 Image
But this is a mere eyewash because-
1.This has been left to the discretion of the respective state/ UT governments
2.This shall be implemented only if vaccine has been left unutilised from online registrations and that too at Government CVCs.
#VaccineFor18Plus #VaccineForAll
While this has been stated in a press release, the #CoWIN website’s FAQs still state that online registration is mandatory for 18-44 age group.

Sharing below a post from Hanuman Mal Bengani the ex CEO of Linde India.

Linde is one of the largest oxygen producers in India.

“Having spent my life time of 45 years in oxygen industry and involved with setting up 50% of production capacities in 🇮🇳 #India
(as business head of Linde) I can share few things which will probably clear some of your thoughts. First few facts:

1) Industrial and medical oxygen are same product produced in same plant, stored in same tanks and filled in same cylinders. #IndiaFightsCOVID19 #8 Oxygen
For medical oxygen the gas company just have to analyse each batch and certify. No other difference. In fact for industrial we need 99.5% pure oxygen where as for medical as per pharmocopea all over world is 93+\-3%.

People are trolling me because I'm not retweeting COVID related content

Me and my parents are providing free rations to some poor families in the vicinity

This is my humble request, in this time of grief, instead of trolling others, help someone in reality

#IndiaFightsCOVID19
I am not retweeting because about 90% my audience are from outside India.

And speaking of those 10% of Indian audience, most of them are below 20 who are early coders. I don't think I and my audience can help anyone find a bed in hospitals or oxygen cylinders.
But in times of this epidemic, I can feed poor people. And this is what I am doing with all my duty.

If you also want to help someone, first stop trolling your own people.

Few things on #IndiaFightsCOVID19

#1 Demand Supply Gap
there is a sudden surge in demand for testing, beds, Oxygen, etc. Make no mistake crisis is real

#2 Panic due to scarcity
Panic driven by scarcity. Like a run on bank, remember #icicibank run in 2008 ?
#3 Precautionary Procurement
Patients get into panic driven precautionary engagement - especially beds, oxygen, medicines (Remdesivir etc)

#4 Amplification by panic
panic multiplies efforts. 1 person needing a bed puts word to 5 people - 5X beds are being sought for 1x need
#5 Black marketing thugs
Get into play to make money out of panic situation. Lots of bad elements hand in glove all over

#6 POLITICAL VULTURES KICK IN
International articles are written showcasing deaths, tragic situations, crematoria. Putting #India down.

Here,130 crore people are at risk. Some say lockdown should’ve been earlier. Some say Army should’ve been called. Some are saying intelligence failure while still others say that he is trying to appease by announcing certain measures.

*Everyone has retrospective opinions but NONE are ready to bear the responsibility of 130 cr people. Only he has to*.

If the lockdown doesn’t succeed then he gets targeted. If it does, still he gets targeted because the economy is hit.

They are not numbers. They are uncles, aunts, mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers, best friends... #CovidIndia

For most, they have nowhere to go, no funds to lobby. Simple people facing extraordinary choices between working and putting food on the table OR dying of #COVID19.
How can we help as individuals? Be kind and help each other. We are all fighting the same battle, but some of us have a better arsenal. I feel helpless as I watch in horror the events unfolding in my birth country. Stay strong #India. This too shall pass. 🤞

Fauci says the US will try to help India deal with its record-breaking Covid surge. "It is a dire situation that we're trying to help in any way we can."

Seems like there’s still some confusion about this. Covishield production not impacted by US exports restrictions. That’s for Covovax.
"..we will rapidly deploy additional support to the people of India and India's health care heroes." - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Dr. Randeep Guleria, Dr. Naresh Trehan and Dr. Devi Shetty addressed some common misconceptions and apprehensions surrounding #COVID19

Here are the highlights of the discussion 👇
AIIMS Director, Dr. Randeep Guleria speaks on who needs oxygen.

In healthy individuals with oxygen saturation 93-94, there's no need to really take high flow oxygen just to maintain your saturation at 98-99 (1/3)

#IndiaFightsCOVID19
Oxygen is a treatment, it's like a drug. Taking oxygen intermittently is an absolute waste of oxygen. There is no data that shows that this will be of any help to you & therefore you shouldn't do: AIIMS Director, Dr. Randeep Guleria
