2⃣ NIFTY 50

An inverted head and shoulder pattern was seen on chart few days back. If the index comes to retest and gives a strong bullish setup, we are looking for a strong upside move in nifty in coming months.

2⃣ NIFTY MIDCAP 50

Good resistance is seen ~ 8930 - 40 level. A good Cup shape breakout expected soon. Once breakout is done we can expect the midcap index and many midcap stocks joining the rally in couple of weeks

It's weekend and it's the end of the month. The #markets are closed.

So there is the perfect time to analyze the #momentum & relative #strength of the markets.

This information is relevant for all #investors, but especially for #trend #followers 📈📈📈

#marketresearch

🧵
The #momentum of the markets are one of the most powerful forces in the evolution of the #asset #prices.

The #reversion to the mean is the opposite force, which is equally powerful. Momentum works on a short and medium term (up to 3 to 5 years).
There is a ton of academic research related to the momentum and the benefits of using it and relative strength. But presenting it this is not the purpose of this #thread.

Relative strength is actually a comparison between the #momentum of two or more #markets.

Lot of #AMCs come up with different ideas, themes, sectors.

These are demands from #Investors as they have done well in recent past.

AMCs are manufacturers & will offer what is in demand.

Final choice to say YES or NO lies entirely with Investors based on their #NEEDs
What should investors choose and what should they ignore. A point by point guide on where and why to invest in certain #themes, #MarketCap bias, #Sectors, #AssetClasses etc.

What should be criteria for these selections and what should guide them to resist from Investing?
Lets start with #Debt:

Keep enough money as 1 year of your expenses as #EmergencyFunds in #LiquidSchemes

You already have enough exposure to debt as:

1. #PPF
2. #TaxFreeBonds
3. #FDs

No need for separate debt allocation if you are investing thru #AssetAllocation (AA) or #DAAF

#Global #ETF (thread): 26 Aug 2021

- 2020 worst perf #sectors making still leading in 2021 $IXG $IXC

- This is helping #oil producing countries with #SaudiArabia & #UAE in top5 #Country ETF YTD performers in USD $KSA $UAE

- #SouthAfrica $EZA still in top30 YTD performers
2/12

#EmergingMarkets #ETF seriously lagging #DevelopedMarkets ETF, mostly due to disinvestment from #China.

#SouthAfrica might need a lot of catch up, but $EZA YTD performance in USD (+8.2%) is still ahead of $EEM (-0.95%)
3/12

#Global #Value #stocks enjoyed short-term recovery to the end of April, but since then, $IWVL #ETF really struggled against #Quality & #Momentum. Over 1yr period it is however still the best-performing #factor, very much in its recovery phase.

#DBL #DilipBuildcon

Dilip Buildcon Ltd. is an India-based company engaged in the business of #infrastructure facilities on engineering procurement and construction (#EPC) basis for #roads #Bridges #Irrigation & #UrbanProjects.
@srslysaurabh @avinashmehta123 @Agarwal_Ishu
Why should one look into this? And does this deserve a place in my portfolio. Here’s my rational below.

#DBL started as a #Road Construction company for the western region and now has diversified into multiple segments and the co. has covered almost all the states in #India.
#DBL has secured orders worth INR 10703 Cr. In FY 21 and the total order book stands at approximately INR 26115 Cr. Orders are balanced between state govt. and central govt. entities. The company has successfully reduced risk on all parameters as far as business is concerned.

As we head into the U.S. #election, there will continue to be a lot of noise that may lead to near-term #market #volatility, particularly since (as we’ve long argued) #markets appear to be able to only focus on one thing at a time!
Still, at times like this it’s crucial to focus on more consequential factors that will drive #markets in the years ahead: in this case, the powerful combination of @federalreserve #monetarypolicy and #fiscal rescue measures intended to keep the #economic engine on track.
So, while many will continue to be skeptical of the sustainability of this #economic recovery, we’ve been impressed by its strength, particularly in the #interest-rate-sensitive segments of the #economy, like #housing, which is going through the roof!
