The current approach to numerical weather and climate modeling is to simulate a system of differential equations relating the flow of energy and matter in different Earth systems. The science is good, but often computationally expensive and imperfect at longer time scales.
Fortunately, weather and climate is also a data-rich field courtesy satellites, radar, & other sensors. While numerical models do not scale with data, ML models benefit from both data & compute. What if we could distill knowledge of the Earth’s atmosphere into a large neural net?

This month, the city closed down its Tenderloin Center in Union Square, a site that all of the people who work in the San Francisco administration knew about a while ago was hosting controlled fentanyl consumption events (but were not supposed to admit to) which enabled fentanyl.

The two centre screens are electronically split into four. The upper two give information such as systems on left and anomalies on right. Lower are used to give the aircraft information from the pilots, such as route, weather, speeds, performance details, etc. #aviation
The displays in front of either pilot are configurable as the pilot wishes. The inboard display is seen here with camera and airfield navigation system displayed but it can also be primary flight instruments and navigation. The outboard is our Electronic Flight Bag. #aviation

We deployed WIS:dom-P w/ augmentation to include: #endogenous learning, blended adv. #nuclear tech., yearly investment periods, @NREL #electrification, pilot projects, new #weather & load #datasets.
Two pathways were analyzed. First, "nominal", was where advanced nuclear had a lower first-of-a-kind (FOAK) cost & no delays due to permitting, labor, supply chains. The second pathway, "constrained", had a higher FOAK and there were delays in permitting, labor and supply chains.
