Y'day Trump tried to squirm out of his kiss-up to Kim by saying media misinterpreted him about Otto Warmbier. Today he uses misinterpretation again to claim "Russia-if-you're-listening" was a joke. This weaponization of ambiguity is key to #Trump's #propaganda #language. @ddale8

Kasie Hunt is reporting that she's been outside the House Intel/Cohen Hearing all day, & that while usually these hearings are primarily attended by Hill Staffers & a handful of Congress, this time, all of the Members are present & have remained in the hearing throughout.
2-Michael Cohen just exited the Intel Hearing room and said that the hearing today was "very productive and I will be back on March 6 to finish up" That is interesting information..guess it must have been productive if they haven't finished yet. #ThursdayThoughts
3-Adam Schiff is saying that Cohen will be returning on 3/6, that all Members feel that it was a very productive int today, "we were able to 'drill down in great detail". on 3/14 Felix Sater-on Trump Tower-public hearing. We'll try to do as many hrgns as we can in the open forum.

#Breaking: Just in - One 20 year old women arrested in the Airport of #Schiphol after she allegedly went in #Syria in 2017 to go and fight with ISIS. She was arrested today upon returning to The Netherlands, and will remain detained until every detail is known what she did there
#Update: The women made a attempt to travel in 2014 to Syria but was held back by Hungarian authorities, and was send back to Serbia where she came from. And eventually travelled with plane to turkey to make her attempt into #Syria. She had been to the Dutch embassy back in
November of 2018 in Turkey, from whom they had been know she was arriving back in The Netherlands soon until she was arrested.

This is an actual excerpt from the House Intelligence Committee's final report.

So.. I thought the Trump transition team denied reports that they tried to establish a backchannel? Yet, House intel cmte is citing those efforts to refute the idea of collusion during the campaign.
Also, efforts to establish a backchannel during the transition period don't preclude 'collusion' during the campaign. It's not at all unlikely that these efforts reflect greater awareness on the part of Trump & co that their comms w/ Russian officials were under scrutiny.
