This guy came up in the news yesterday in regards to Saudi Arabia and UAE, so it made me wonder if he also might have a link to 1MDB.

Sweden re-opened a rape investigation into Assange, though did NOT charge him yet, and wants the UK to extradite him there instead of the US because they claim the statute of limitations will be up in August.

An Assange lawyer said that he'd be happy to cooperate w/ Sweden.
This all seems a bit suspicious to me, though.

Assange claimed Russia had nothing to do w/ the DNC leaks & he had proof, but doesn't want to come here to prove it, yet he wants to go to Sweden to face possible rape charges? Also, Sweden said they re-opened case without charges.
It's possible he may think the consequences would be worse in the US vs Sweden, though as of right now, he hasn't been charged with much.

I’ve previously thought that AOC’s #GreenNewDeal was more of a “throw the most outrageous proposal into the public sphere” type of thing so that other Democrats could come along and “compromise” on it so it would’t sound so bad. And well, here it is from #Biden2020.

Of course Biden wants to get us back INTO the #ParisAccord to hand over our money to all the other countries, like #CHINA ( his BFF and money maker), who don’t even have to follow the Accord rules.

The same accord that would have, once again, also cost tons of US jobs.
Biden recently said that #China wasn’t competition nor a threat to the US.

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.

Antisemitism serves different roles depending on who's pushing it out. the point of anti-Jewish oppression is to keep a Jewish face in front, so that Jews, instead of ruling classes, become the target for peoples’ rage, it works even more smoothly when Jews are allowed some success, and can be perceived as the ones “in charge” by other oppressed groups.” --April Rosenblum, The Past Didn’t Go Anywhere (2007)
The key line here, for this conversation: "The point of anti-Jewish oppression is to keep a Jewish face in front, so that Jews, instead of ruling classes, become the target for peoples’ rage." There are several players, here. "Ruling classes" and also "people who have rage."
They are not the same. Their interests are not the same. The problem with the discourse around antisemitism today is that they too often get utterly conflated. "Ruling classes" scapegoat Jews as a way to direct rage. "People" are being manipulated to keep eyes off ruling classes.
