Users hate passwords; #WebAuthn could render them obsolete. But hardware security keys (YubiKeys) are inconvenient. Fortunately, end users can also use their phones as #FIDO2 authenticators. The user authorizes each sign in using their usual unlock mechanism (biometric, PIN).

Using your fingerprint to sign into a website is new to most end users. Our research focused on users' initial encounters with biometric WebAuthn. Many will encounter WebAuthn for the first time via a small notification on a website encouraging them to adopt the technology.

I was here in July 2020, when I started reading about the long running plans by the @wef to develop digital identity-based services for health, travel etc. I often searched for the phrase’s ‘Immunity Passports’ or ‘Health Passports’ without finding many matches.

For me there were tell-tale signs that the real agenda was progressing in the background while the masses were debating over testing, cases & masks. For me this was all background noise, so I took a journey to find out the true intensions behind the #COVID19 drama.

First off, when you subject tenants to disturbingly invasive surveillance systems, you might want to, you know, ask if we agree. 😡

(2) Next, the fact that I have absolutely no idea what the capabilities of the system are. Does this include #FacialRecognition? Clearly it has both computer vision and thermal imaging, but what else? One person in the lobby says it has mask detection AI, is that true?

(3) Who keeps this data? For how long? Is it routinely shared with police and/or public health authorities? Do you have a #privacy policy, and if so, where is it?

I know not every tenant is a #surveillance expert, but did you think none of us would care?

No #privacy notice. No info from the operator.
No contextual information on #signature pad.
I was not able to understand what I was signing for each of them.
No alternative: sign or leave the queue!

A very frustrating and worrying situation

This is a bad attitude for a big company and don't comply with #GDPR at all.

As a #PrivacyPro, I will now touch base with the #DPO just to announce that I will file a complain to the local DPA.

This creepy biometric signature is used by the front desk of heath service provided by @fsitaliane RFI , main Italian railways agency. Thousand of workers face the same shaming signature.

As per clause 3(b) of the Privacy Policy, data will be retained on #mobile device. Hence, data can also be accessed by Mobile cos. As per cl. 1(b), the @SetuAarogya will use #Bluetooth and #location data. So, such data can also be accessed by #Telecom companies. 3/10 @TRAI
