I want you to know that the ketone body Acetoacetate is a powerful gene-signaling molecule. (1/14)
Acetoacetate has been shown to inhibit histone deacetylase (HDAC) activity in the brain, leading to increased histone acetylation and altered gene expression. (2/14)
Acetoacetate has been shown to inhibit HDAC activity, leading to increased histone acetylation and altered gene expression. This affects the expression of genes involved in synaptic plasticity and cognitive function in the brain. (3/14)

Can a ketogenic diet help the symptoms of a hard-core neurodegenerative disorder like Huntington's disease? Let's see what a published case study found. 🧵 (1/16)
Huntington's disease (HD) is a genetic disorder caused by a mutation in the huntingtin (HTT) gene, which produces a toxic protein that damages nerve cells in the brain. (2/16)
HD is inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern, meaning that a person only needs one copy of the mutated gene from either parent to develop the disease. (3/16)

Some people do bad things, but, they don't look bad.
They are others who do good, but, they don't look good.
It's how we are intrinsically made, that shapes our personality, defines our intentions and describes our actions.
Our #DNA is the repository that informs our evolution.
Ask the maker why he made it?
Not from the doer.
We human beings are at the receiving end, always!!
We are what we are!
We all are made according to a certain specification list.
If we try to mutate ourselves forcefully too much, we won't remain what we are.
Be #Adaptative without violating the complex laws of nature.

We eagerly watched what reforms under the #collectivists would imply, as the UK had a manifest #class system.
The worse thing which #Blair could do, at that time, was to remove the #hereditary #peers from the House of #Lords.
This particular political decision had far-reaching consequences for the #British Society,as a vernacular mindset that rejected #evolution & tradition jointly arose
